Becoming a volunteer with The Wilderz at Pocono Wildlife can be a rewarding and life-changing experience. You will get to work closely with animals, serve their needs, facilitate their healing, and aid in their release back to the wild.

Internships:

Are you in need of an internship?

• Do you have an interest in animal science, wildlife biology, ornithology, veterinary medicine, ecology or environmental science?
• Do you want to make a difference while learning about Pennsylvania’s native wildlife?
• Are you interested in becoming a wildlife rehabilitator?

If you answered “yes” to any of the questions above, the internship program at The Wilderz at Pocono Wildlife may be for you!

Brief Overview

Over the course of the internship, selected candidates will have the opportunity to feed, clean, and care for our wildlife patients. Candidates will have the opportunity to:

• Learn about what it takes to run a wildlife hospital.
• Care for and medicate wildlife.
• Prepare nutritionally-balanced meals.
• And more!
