The Wilderz at Pocono Wildlife aspire to educate and guide the public towards a symbiotic relationship with wildlife. Founded in 1983, the center has grown to now intake over 3,000 animals every year. Janine Tancredi and Susan Downing, PA licensed wildlife rehabbers and the Executive Directors of The Wilderz, have become a resource for humans and animals alike, offering their wealth of knowledge and assistance to those in need.

We are a Pennsylvania Certified & Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. We’re determined to make a positive change in the world by promoting humane and compassionate treatment of all living species. Our goal is to create a safe place for injured, abandoned, and orphaned animals while providing ethical treatment and love to all involved.
